Need I say more? After a good run of being healthy, the problems started again. Sinus infections, stomach flu and a night in the hospital because of a gallbladder attack. Randy being the jokester got this onesie to celebrate my lack of energy :).

The girls' individual pictures came out pretty good this year.

Taking Pictures

One of the great things about digital cameras is that your kids can take as many pictures as they want without wasting any paper. However, sometimes when looking at the pictures they take can make you wonder.
For instance, today, the girls took a picture of their favorite cartoon, Voltron: Defenders of the Universe. But you just have to wonder about this frame.

My Litte Man

It's fun to play with Andrew during the day. We get to talk a lot, walk at the park, and tackle chores together. He recently pointed out that our bear needed new clothes so he got to change them all himself, something he usually has to share with his sisters.

We often do so much during the day, we neglect to take a nap. This results in some unexpected side-effects.



Sight

Caroline was prescribed some glasses to help ease eye strain during reading. She's totally jazzed that they both help her read better as well as their color; purple! She makes the glasses look good :)

New Routine

With the girls in school, I get to spend the mornings with the 2 little ones. Andrew has really grown up and learned to enjoy his baby sister. Cambria, of course, loves any attention from her brother and sisters.

Cliff's Baptism

Congrats to Clifford on his Baptism. Its always nice to see a father baptize his son - Mega warm fuzzies all over. Cyndi also had a great dinner afterwards. She always has been able to throw a great party. It was just a wonderful rare occasion where all the Burks' grandkids were together.

1st game of the season

The girls had their 1st soccer game ever. It was crazy trying to find our team amongst the 20 teams playing at the same time. The girls still have a lot to learn about the game, as does Mommy but the experience is fun so far.

Seeing the kids play is so worth the cost of registration and the trips to practice in the heat of the day, during dinner time :)

 

 

Soccer Mom

I've been a band nerd, a polka geek, a domestic goddess, a nut case, and now I get to add on "Soccer Mom." Although I have dreaded the title (I don't know why... all the soccer moms that I've met have been awesome), I have embraced the fact that kids come home tired enough to go to bed without a fight. Woo Hoo!

My little Mandrew. He wants so much to play on Kimmee's team. He can kick better and is taller than 1/2 of the 4 and 5-year-olds on the team.

We're really fortunate that the coach allows Andrew to play with the kids.
