Christmas Programs

Caroline's class this year performed one of my favorite songs..... I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. :) Kimmee, like Caroline last year, was too sick to go to school and perform. Poor kid, she cried for hours.

Free Bathtub

When you have a lot of kids, you buy a lot of diapers. That means a lot of Huggies reward points. One of the prizes I redeemed was a blow up baby bathtub for Cambria and a Playschool Cell Phone. Score!

Funny Kids

The kids are silly.... Just like Mom and Dad :)

Christmas Blues

We had a good time in Meadview on Saturday night. Got to visit with GGm and GGp Pete, GGm Barker, Grandma and Grandpa Barker, Auntie Mel Mel, Uncle Steepen, Uncle Brian, Catherine and Santa Claus!
However, when we got home, Randy was sick enough to go to the ER. Later, Christmas morning, he woke up with hives and swelling from the antibiotics they gave him. Good thing we had access to benadryl! Between my being in the hospital for Thanksgiving and Randy at Christmas, we're done with 2011. Still, we got good pictures of the kids.

Kimmee and Dandoo

So... Being the two big kids while Caroline is at school is creating an interesting dynamic between these two. I always thought they might be close - having only 18 mos age difference. But there are time that I have to ask myself... what ARE they thinking?
Don't ask me what she was trying to do. I don't know and I'm not sure I want to know.

End of the Season

Beginning of the season, 115 degrees for a midday game. End of the season, 38 degrees for the early morning games. BUT the girls still had fun. I think soccer was really good for the family.

Cute Baby

I think Cambria is in the 1% .... in happiness :)

Use the Force

I couldn't resist

Turkey Trot

Because the Kingman Academy is smart, they have all of the kids participate in a run, a "Turkey Trot" the day before vacation; as if actual learning happens the day before Thanksgiving. It's actually really nice to see the 4 seperate schools all cheer for eachother at the finish line. The Primary school kids applauded the Middle Schoolers and the High School kids were really going wild for the 1st graders.....  Lots of smiles all around.
Running with your friends is much more fun than winning the T-shirt!
Cheering on the Middle School boys.

Poultry Performance

Kimmee's Preschool class had their first presentation for parents on Tuesday. It was actually quite well done considering that the age spread is 3-5 yrs and they only are in class 3 hours a day.
Hey Mom, can you make some of this after school? My teacher said they were "sweet" potatoes.

Who is this boy and why is he hugging (touching) my daughter. Gee, it starts so early.
I'm so excited! There's going to be cupcakes afterwards!

Crawling Cram School

With Cambria, I haven't really let her play on the floor. I just love holding her SO much. Consequently she hasn't had the chance to learn how to crawl. Well, as usual, while down in Cali my kids learn a lot of things they don't normally learn while with me. Cambria went from rolling last week to rocking back and forth 2 days ago to crawling today. This girl can cram!
Is it yoga? Maybe Pilates? Cool down stretching? Who knows....

Dump-er Trucks

That's what Andrew calls monster trucks, and he's in love with them! They've got one parked at the local Honda dealership and every time we pass it.... "DUMP-ER TWUCK!"

Trunk or Treat

What do little Mormon children do for Halloween? Well, because it falls on Monday this year, the wards had their Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday as to not interfere with FHE. Ours had a chili dinner... I had the turkey chili (the other other white meat).

Caroline was Fairy Secret Barbie, Kimmee was Silvermist from the Tinkerbell series, and Andrew was Lightning McQueen.

Sweet Randy - He was sick with the stuff that the kids and I have had all week, yet he still came and handed out germs... ahem candy to all the unsuspecting little monsters :)
The missionaries were there tonight giving out sweets to the kids....
And homework for the adults

All in all, it was a really fun night for all.

Loose Tooth

Caroline will just not allow us to pull it! We just have to wait for it to fall out on its own. Bummer.

Heterochromia

Gotta love the brown spot on Cambria's eye. You can't see it really good unless you're in the sun. Not too many pics show it unless I'm really close up with a flash :)

The "New" McDonald's

The kids love playing at the new McDonald's down the road. They've got a 20 ft high jungle gym and 3 touch screen video game stations when they get tired. Mommy likes the free wi-fi while watching the kids play. Cambria also gets to sit in a big girl high-chair. This really helps with teaching her how to eat out of a spoon.
